Welcome to our website. Our family farm is a small operation located in Emery UT that produces beef and pork. The image above is our old bull Ferdinand. He is no longer on the farm, but his calves will be ready Fall 2009. Marvin is our new Certified Black Angus bull.

Our cattle live on grass pasture all year and are fed organic hay in the winter when the snow is on the ground. We have steers ready and available in the fall each year. On occasion we have gaps in our production where beef isn't available for a few months. Because our beef is certified organic, it is slaughtered separate from other beef and the butcher must clean the plant an process it separate from the conventional beef.

A side will usually yield approximately 25% steaks, 25% roasts, 25% grind, and   25% bone, fat, & shrinkage. As you know it varies depending on how you have it cut, bone in / bone out.

Unfortunately, we are sold out of beef for home delivery for 2008. We do have a wait list for those that would like to order beef for fall 2009.  Send us an email if you are interested. To satisfy your organic beef craving you can get some fresh ground beef at Emigration Market on 13th South and 17th East in Salt Lake City. If you want something cooked to order, then take a ride up the ski lift at Alta and enjoy a juicy hamburger at Watson Shelter.

Frequently we are asked, "Why you don't expand the farm?" The farm originated as a model farm for our other passion, organic fertilizers and animal feed supplements.  During the day we are mining minerals for world wide distribution. Check our day job out if you are interested, www.livearth.com.
